This week in Tweets
- My EA Sports Active shipped early for some reason & arrived while we were away at Disney World. Wasn’t supposed to ship until tomorrow. #
- Luckily, our neighbor took it in for us so I can begin working off post-Disney weight gain (6 lbs) soon. #
- RT @BadAstronomer Anyone in tweetland a mix of Caucasian and Asian? You may be able to save a man’s life! Please read/RT: http://tr.im/lFOJ #
- Offline for a week thanks to Disney World trip. Didn’t miss Internet much. Not surprising considering how much there is to do at Disney. #
- I’d go offline for another week if I could go back tomorrow. Just too bad I can’t earn a living visiting Disney World every day. 😉 #
- Of course, if Disney wants to pay me an annual salary to visit their parks/hotels/etc, ride their rides, and take photos, I’m all ears. 😉 #
- One of NHL’s fav rides at Disney World is going to become a Nintendo Wii game. http://bit.ly/27v1Kj We may just have to buy this one. #
- Toy Story 3 is on the way: “Woody, Buzz & the rest of their toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after Andy, departs for college” #
- (Plot Synopsis from IMDB) #

- Throat hurting this morning. Hoping it’s just dry or something & I’m not getting sick. #

- Too tired to do much tonight. Think I’ll turn in early. “Early” for me being before midnight. #
- Second day waking up w/ sore throat. Could still be allergies. Going to get some tea to help soothe it. #
- RT @wiifitgirl Bra increases woman’s cleavage when aroused http://bit.ly/Juw3E <= “Honey, why did your boobs grow when that guy walked by?” #
- Got EA Sports Active. Need to start working out. This week is recovery from Disney World (process photos, etc). I’ll start on Sunday. #
- RT @wired: Experiment: Let’s clock how fast a tweet can travel round the world. RT this with your time zone and #tweetspeed. [EST] #
- Ran the numbers. I took 2,600 photos while at Disney. Over 7 days, averaging 10 hrs/day, that means I took 1 photo every 1.6 minutes. 😉 #
- Lack of sleep last night + Not feeling good = low motivation for getting work done. #
- I decide to be productive & our e-mail system goes down. Again! Seriously, do I need to print out my e-mails so I can work uninterrupted? #
- Disney Photo Pass lets you upload your own photos, apply their borders, & put those on your PhotoCD…. #
- …What’s to stop someone from uploading an all-white “photo” & using the resulting image as a template in a photo editor program? #
- I wouldn’t do that, mind you, but I do wonder what protections are in place for these types of occurences. #
- Uploading two photos to Disney PhotoPass (no, not white images like my previous musings – actual photos) to see what borders are available. #
- Looks like 2 General Disney borders, 6 Character Design borders, 7 Disneyland borders, 4 Disney World borders, and 3 Mouse Ears borders. #
- Since we went to Disney World, not Disneyland, we’d only be interested in 15 of the borders. #
- Also, the Character Design 1s look cheesy & the Disney World 1s are useless (“Disney World” on a colored bg), so only 5 that interest me. #
- Subtract the Orange Mouse Ears border (we’re not orange fans) & that leaves 4. Makes me wonder whether it is worth it to upload our photos. #
- However, the Disney Stock Photos look cool. Photos of Disney World that we normally couldn’t take pics of that we can add to our PhotoCD. #
- There are at least 130 that we would want to add and another 77 that we’d include just because they’re free to add in. #
- Ate lunch, still feeling shaky. Not good. I really need to get myself tested for blood sugar levels. #
- Adding all the Disney Stock Photos to our PhotoCD, along with our 170 Photos (w/ & w/o borders), gives us 377 photos for $99 or $0.26/photo. #
- Played around with Disney’s PhotoPass a bit more. Turns out you can only order prints of the stock photos. Too bad. #
- Also you can’t add your uploaded photos to the PhotoCD order whether or not you add borders. (That answers my “White Photo” question.) #
- Def won’t bother weeding through our photos to upload to Disney’s Photo Pass now. They charge $0.19 for a 4×6 print. WinkFlash is only $0.08 #
- Checked WinkFlash to find current print price. Found out they have a Flat Rate photo book sale. 100 page photo book for $20? Cool! #
- Might order 2. One for us and one for in-laws. #
- RT @TheAngelForever: Mother’s Day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios –> http://www.theangelforever.com/?p=1232 #
- Disney’s PhotoPass turned out to be a bit deceptive. 3 ways I’d improve it: 1) Make all of the rides photo-pass enabled. #
- Way #2 I’d improve Disney’s Photo Pass: Allow stock photos on CD #
- Way #3 I’d improve Disney’s Photo Pass: allow edited uploaded photos on CD. #
- Not shaky anymore thanks to lunch & tootsie rolls. Getting shaky when eating late is prob not a good sign since Diabetes runs in my family. #
- Just told the “mustard” story to someone. It’s the only story guaranteed to make me nauseaus. Why did I leave myself open to telling it? #
- Is it 4:30 yet? *looks at clock* A whole hour to go. Come on clock. Move it! #
- Not feeling like making dinner tonight. Wonder if @TheAngelForever would feel like Chinese food. #
- Called WinkFlash. Flat rate photobook sale ends tomorrow at midnight. They run this about every 2 months. We’ll order our books next time. #
- Yay! @TheAngelForever thought Chinese food was a good idea because it’s 80 out. Veggie dumplings & eggplant w/ black bean sauce for dinner! #

- Feeling downright icky. 🙁 #
- This morning I heard the boys playing & NHL began singing “It’s a small world after all…” I think Disney World affected his brain! 😉 #
- Deciding which Disney photos to show my co-workers while I get work done. (Multitasking) At 281 photos so far w/ 1,145 to look through still #
- I propose a new Twitter tag (inspired by @BadAstronomy): #TSIB. Short for “The Stupid, It Burns!” Use when encountering monumental stupidity #
- e.g. Chairman of the Texas State Board of Ed, Don McLeroy, declares: “Someone has to stand up to the experts.” http://bit.ly/f8FO8 #TSIB #
- Just estimated that our desktop PC upstairs (used as a file/print server) uses about $180 per year in electricity. Looking at an alternative #
- My alternative (PogoPlug+USB HD+USB Print Server) would cost ~$250 to set up. We’d pay up front but would save about $145/yr in energy costs #
